Travis Stevens is the founder and CEO of Snowfort Pictures; a boutique production company specializing in the development, financing and production of commercial genre films. Working with both established filmmakers and first-time talent, Snowfort Pictures partners with financiers, sales agents and distributors from around the world to bring unique, high-quality films to audiences hungry for something different.
Since 2010 Stevens has produced a wide range of award-winning genre films that have premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, Cannes Director's Fortnight, Sundance, SXSW, Telluride, Tribeca, FantasticFest, AFI and many more.
These collaborations with filmmakers such as Karyn Kusama (XX), Adam Wingard (lA HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE), Sarah Adina Smith (lBUSTER’S MAL HEART), E.L. Katz (CHEAP THRILLS), Dennis Widmyer & Kevin Kolsch (STARRY EYES) and Ted Geoghegan (lMOHAWK & WE ARE STILL HERE) have found critical and commercial success around the world. Featuring the acting talent of Rami Malek, Alisha Boe, Cleopatra Coleman, Kaniehtiio Horn, Alex Essoe, AnnaLynn McCord, Lin Shaye, Matthew Gray Gubler, Kate Lyn Sheil, Pat Healy, Ethan Embry, David Koechner, DJ Qualls, Eamon Farren, and Sheila Vand, these projects sought to expand the emotional and intellectual reach of the modern genre film.
Stevens’ 2019 writing and directing debut GIRL ON THE THIRD FLOOR stars Phil Brooks, Trieste Kelly Dunn, Sarah Brooks & Elissa Dowling and will premiere at SXSW.
Stevens has been a guest panelist at the Brussels International Co-Production Market, the Fantasia Frontiers Market, the IFTA Production Conference, the Stanley Film Fest, SXSW, Shudder Labs and the Hollywood Black Film Festival. He's also served as film juror for a wide variety of genre film festivals including Fantastic Fest, PiFan, Fantasia, the Stanley Film Fest, the Oldenburg International Film Festival and the Strasbourg International Film Festival.
